A Call to Nobility | Christopher J. Weeks
Book Description
A Faded Yellow Letter From My Dad
I found an old letter from my dad. It was one of the many handwritten notes he sent me during the formative years of my life. Each letter contained wisdom on being a man of God — advice that helped shape and form me. And now, having two sons of my own, I was inspired to write them letters too. But instead of yellow papers that get lost and thrown away, I wanted my advice preserved for them and others.
15 Letters on 15 Topics every young man needs to consider to be pleasing to God.
This book’s aim is to encourage our sons to godly living. To help them escape the trap of apathy, where most young men are languishing these days. To inspire them to live the type of life that is noble, one infused with passion and dignity. Topics include finding the will of God, understanding our place in this world, to even becoming marriage material. Each chapter includes 8 probing questions to spark small group discussion with other young men who want God’s best.

About the Author
Christopher J. Weeks is old enough to remember when the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio caught on fire. And ever since then he has wondered when the rest of the world will catch? And that is why he writes. In his search for meaning, he has been a bartender, rugby player, salesman in the Chicago loop, teacher in Russia, and now for the last 25 years, he has been pastoring with his wife and four children at a rural church amidst the apple orchards of West Michigan farmland.
